Soy-based ink, as the name suggests, is made of soybeans. The resins and waxes used are also natural additivesmaking the ink extremely eco-friendly and biodegradable. lnk is considered soy-based if at least 6-40% of theink consists of soy. Petroleum-based ink, on the other hand, is made of crude oil. This type of ink is toxic,flammable, and emits volatile organic compounds when it dries.
